This guest seminar will overview key legal issues presented by today's cyberworld.  More than ever, transactions of increasingly sensitive nature are being conducted online. At the same time, those who have interest in intercepting such data are working hard to get at it.  Legal concerns to be covered  include Securing Intellectual Property,  Online Privacy, Security in Online Contracting, Forensics, Cyberthreats and Compliance.  This seminar will be useful for anyone with interest in legal issues relating to their technical and related work in the field.  Although no legal advice is provided in the seminar, it will be an opportunity to learn general information about key trends in this highly important area.

Rajeev Sachdev, MBA, LLM

Rajeev Sachdev is a Professor, US Lawyer, English Solicitor and attends Oxford University. He also holds several degrees including a Masters in Law (E-Commerce Law concentration) and an MBA. He was a Visiting Researcher at UC Berkeley Law and has spoken on related technology and law topics at various institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford and others. He has held several teaching and faculty head positions and his current research is in the areas of cybersecurity, law and IP.
