Board Bios

The board of directors for the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Informaiton Systems Security Association (ISSA)  is comprised of individuals who have not only expressed interest in contributing to the greater good of the Information Security community and the community-at-large, but have also volunteered their time to take action towards achieving this goal. With representation from some of the largest Silicon Valley companies to niche boutiques, we work hard to facilitate fulfillment of our members' objectives.

John Millican

John Millican presides over all chapter and board meetings as well as providing general leadership for the chapter. He currently provides information security services for the Office Of The CIO. John has been providing information security services for over twenty-five years including being the CISO for Expedia Inc. He specializes in assisting senior managers develop effective, robust information security functions for their organizations.

 

Brian Kennedy
Vice President: vicepresident@sv-issa.org

Responsible for bringing in industry speakers and sponsors for the chapter. Working in conjunction with the entire board to ensure the content is relevant to their Information Security career and knowledge.  CyberArk Brian Kennedy has been working with all sizes of customers in Information Security Since 2002, ensuring products and services align with the companies Information Security objectives.

 

Dick Hacking
Treasurer: treasurer@sv-issa.org

Dick Hacking has been performing security control failure assessments for most of his career. He is currently a QSA performing assessments against PCI DSS requirements for credit card security in small to mid-size businesses. He also regularly performs IT security and governance gap reviews and advises clients on how to expand their security posture. He is also treasurer for the annual Cornerstones of Trust conference.

 

Andrew Daniels

Drew is responsible for the education programs for the SV chapter.  He is responsible for putting together and alerting the chapter of any training opportunities that may be of interest to the chapter.  During most days Drew is the Vice President of Security for Qubole, Inc. a Data Analytics company and is responsible for security, compliance and privacy and reports to the CEO.  In addition Drew also serves as security adviser for VC backed startups.

Drew has been head of security for several companies over the past 10 years including Shutterfly, ClearSlide and Qubole.  He has over 25 years of total experience.I'm an avid emailer feel free to email educationdirector@sv-issa.org

 

Greg Edwards

Run SV ISSA events. Goals are smooth running effective events that are good learning experiences, cost effective and fun.   Director of Technology at Kesselman & Associates  Over 25 years in InfoSec (most at a Fortune 50 company). Taught CISSP over 120 times, CISA ~30 times, CISM, WiFi Security, Web Security, Network Security, Penetration Testing, etc. many times. Have run or helped run over 100 tradeshows and many meetings.

 

Glenn Tenney

Assist in attracting new members and retaining existing members of the Silicon Valley ISSA Chapter; Maintaining meeting attendance notes to assist members in case of CPE audits; and work on other projects with the SV-ISSA Board to help improve the value of the SV-ISSA to our membership.

I am an ISSA Fellow; Senior Life member of the IEEE; Senior member of the ACM; a member of: InfraGard, IEEE Computer Society, the Information Security and Electronic Discovery Digital Evidence committees of the American Bar Association; and a past chair of the IEEE-USA Intellectual Property Committee.

I have over 40 years of experience in software and systems development, information security, technology management, intellectual property & tech policy development, litigation, and a great deal of source and object code spelunking. Much of my recent experience has been as a consulting and testifying expert witness.

Andy Radle

Andy’s 25 year HPE career includes prior roles managing a GRC function and leading roles in identity management, service management, ser-vice marketing, service engineering, network architecture and network engineering.Andy holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, is a Senior Member of the Information Systems Security Association and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineri

 

Ken Voigt

Ken is responsible for Administrative and Technical Management of the web site and SV-ISSA email system for the board. Ken has been an ISSA member since 2003, and served as chapter president for the San Francisco chapter in 2005-2007. In 2008 Ken became a member of the Silicon Valley chapter. Ken served as Education director for the Silicon Valley chapter from 2010-2016.In the role as education director, his primary function was to plan and produce the annual chapter sponsored CISSP review course. Ken is gainfully employed as a Network Engineer Consultant, responsible for installation and operation of Firewalls, Load Balancers, and network access controls (ACLs) on data center network switches & routers.
