​Joe Slowik

Cyber Threat Intelligence Expert

​Joe Slowik brings over 15 years of experience across cyber threat intelligence, incident response, and offensive operations. He has served in leadership and hands on roles at the US Navy, Los Alamos National Laboratory, MITRE Corporation, DomainTools, and Huntress.

​Joe currently directs alerting strategy for cybersecurity at Dataminr and teaches and advises on cyber threat intelligence and threat hunting through his own company, Paralus LLC.

​Mike Skurko

President, Silicon Valley ISSA | Co-Founder, PRE

​Mike Skurko advises cybersecurity startups as a vCRO and advisor, with a track record that includes two IPOs and four acquisitions. As President of Silicon Valley ISSA, he brings executive perspective and industry depth to this conversation. Outside of cybersecurity, Mike is a certified Pyrotechnic Operator, Avy-1, and PADI Rescue Diver.
